Funded by Human Appeal, the Humanitarian Forum – Yemen implemented the project of Zakat Al-Fitr Distribution for displaced and affected by the war in Abyan and Taiz – Yemen, during the period from 5 May 2021 until 14 June 2021.
The project aims to alleviate the human suffering of 410 families affected by the war in Yemen by providing zakat al-Fitr to 410 families in Taiz and Abyan and distributing cash equivalent to $98 per family.
260 families were targeted in Taiz, and 150 families in Abyan. The total number of direct beneficiaries has reached about 2,811.
In this context, beneficiaries expressed their high happiness and thanked the Humanitarian Forum and Human Appeal.
