World Humanitarian Day is celebrated every year on 19 August to pay tribute to aid workers who risk their own lives in the field of humanitarian services. It is also intended today to mobilize support for those affected by crises around the world.
The theme of the 2017 World Humanitarian Day campaign is: #NotATarget (#NotATarget)
The humanitarian campaign, in partnership with other local organizations, organized the World Humanitarian Day Festival in the presence of social and humanitarian figures to emphasize the importance of supporting the Yemeni cause and ensuring its use by force and violence against civilian targets.
Calling on all international and local actors to consider the issue of Yemen as a cause of global security and peace, which calls for peaceful intervention to resolve the crisis to stop the suffering of Yemenis.
