The Humanitarian Forum held the training of the humanitarian evaluation of the humanitarian situation in cooperation with the Office of Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) at the headquarters of the Forum in Sana’a. The training aims to train the participants on how to use the tool to survey the human condition in case of disasters (natural and man-made). The tool is designed to serve as a standard and accessible tool for cross-sectoral groups, aimed at providing a common understanding of the situation, the affected population and the affected geographical area. Positioning the tool by the M & E team to improve the coordination between rapid needs assessments and the mitigation of pressure on communities as a result of assessments.
The training was attended by approximately 20 trainers from various NGOs. At the end of the training, the Code of Honor for this form was signed.
