Within the framework of Emergency Response Project for Malnutrition in Taiz, funded by Human Appeal, the Humanitarian Forum – Yemen carried out the activity of food baskets distribution for 1065 poor and displaced families in Taiz Governorate – districts: Cairo, Salla, and Mudhaffar.
The activity aimed to distribute integrated food baskets for 1065 poor and needy families only once. Distribution continued for two consecutive days.
The project aims to alleviate the human suffering of those affected by the war in Yemen by preventing deaths due to famine in Taiz among the most vulnerable groups in Taiz Governorate.
In this context, beneficiaries expressed their gratitude and thanks to the Humanitarian Forum – Yemen and Human Appeal for assisting, especially in light of the deteriorating economic conditions people live in Taiz.
