HFY implements winter assistances distribution in Taiz…

Within the framework of activities related to the emergency winter assistance project for the most vulnerable groups in Yemen, funded by Human Appeal, the Humanitarian Forum – Yemen implemented the winter assistances distribution activity in Taiz governorate. About 20 homeless people were targeted with blankets and jackets. Furthermore, about 24 workers, who work in car washes in the streets, were targeted with headscarves, long plastic shoes, and gloves that help them face the harsh cold while working in the streets.
It is worth mentioning that during a previous period of this project implementation, about100 poor families were targeted by distributing blankets, heaters, and some tea and sugar.
The project aims to alleviate the human suffering of the groups most affected by the ongoing conflicts and the poorest groups and help them face the harsh winter cold.
