Fouad, who lives in the Al-Dhaboua neighborhood with his wife and his only son, leads a life full of sorrow, sadness because of harsh living conditions and extreme poverty.
To feel helpless and unable to provide for the family makes one contemplates putting an end to his life, he said. “How much I wished to show my wife and son that I am trustworthy as a provider,” he bitterly recounted, “Even drinking water is something I could not afford to provide.”
After including him in the survey and providing the family with drinking water, he felt a fleeting satisfaction.
Fouad thanked Human Appel and the Humanitarian Forum for their support but at the same time he hopes that the Humanitarian Forum will not forget him in the upcoming projects.
