For the sixth consecutive year, the Humanitarian Forum Yemen (HFY) continues its mission to deliver Zakat Al-Fitr to vulnerable and underprivileged families in Taiz Governorate, with generous support from Human Appeal. This initiative is part of a long-standing and fruitful partnership with Human Appeal.
Within the framework of this initiative, the project successfully distributed 652 integrated food baskets to 652 families across the city’s three main districts: Al-Qahirah, Al-Mudhaffar, and Salh. Each basket was designed to meet the essential nutritional needs of families during the Eid period, containing core food commodities such as flour, rice, and sugar, in addition to pulses and cooking oil.
The implementation of this project serves as an urgent humanitarian intervention to alleviate the living hardships faced by the most marginalized groups in Taiz, especially amidst the deteriorating economic conditions. Through these distributions, we strive to bring joy to families in need while ensuring their access to essential sustenance with dignity and respect during Eid Al-Fitr days.
All deepest gratitude to our partners at Human Appeal for their continued trust and generous support over the years to provide vital aid to people in Yemen.
