My name is Ali, I am from Al-Jawf governorate. I am married and have 5 children. I used to live in comfort in my house before I was, along with my family, forced by the conflict in the area to escape to the refugee camp. The management of the camp received us warmly despite the bad conditions of the camp; they didn’t have necessary requirements and services. The camp was totally isolated from the rest of the world.
The HFY team and PennyAppeal approached us and gave away tents and blankets for every displaced family. We spontaneously fell down in prostration. I was very grateful and filled with hope as I felt that my family is accommodated and protected from the severe coldness of the winter.
