HFY has successfully brought smiles to thousands of children in Taiz City through the implementation of the “Eid Al-Fitr Joy” project. Generously funded by Human Appeal, this humanitarian initiative aimed to bring happiness to the hearts of children and orphans, enabling them to celebrate Eid with dignity and joy.
The project activities commenced on the second day of Eid Al-Fitr and continued for four consecutive days. During this period, “Highland Amusement Park” was transformed into a vibrant space of joy, hosting four major festive celebrations. These events featured comprehensive recreational activities designed to provide children with a festive experience equal to that of their peers. By the grace of Allah, the project reached a total of 2,052 children, including 1,971 children from 657 vulnerable families in Al-Qahirah, Al-Mudhaffar, and Salla districts, in addition to 81 orphans residing in the Taiz Orphanage.
The festivities included providing free game tickets, distributing snacks, fresh juices, and mineral water, as well as a variety of Eid chocolates and sweets. A dedicated face-painting corner was also featured to add a touch of color and cheer, reflecting the spirit of the occasion. The project’s primary objective is to alleviate the humanitarian suffering experienced by the children of Taiz, restoring confidence and happiness to orphans and the most vulnerable groups, thereby strengthening their sense of community support and care.
This project stands as a model of humanitarian solidarity and collaborative action. HFY extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this initiative, highly valuing the support of Human Appeal, which made it possible to grant these children unforgettable Eid moments.
