Funded by Human Appeal, HFY carried out the Qurbani distribution project for the year 2025 in the Taiz Governorate. The project aimed to assist 7,989 families in urgent need within the targeted districts: Al-Qahirah, Sala, and Al-Mudhaffar. Each family received three kilograms of net meat. Additionally, the Psychiatric and Neurological Hospital in Taiz city was also included in the distribution
The distribution took place over four consecutive days, starting from the second day of Eid and continuing until the fifth day of Eid al-Adha.
This project aims to alleviate the humanitarian suffering faced by vulnerable groups affected by the conflict in Yemen, particularly the displaced, people with disabilities, and orphans, during the significant religious occasion of Eid al-Adha.
